Private Airplane Hangar - New Orleans Airport

The private airplane hangar was designed as a replacement to an open-air structure that exposed the owner's aircraft to driving rain. Built inside the fence of the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport on leased property, the structure was designed to be disassembled and moved if needed.

Heaslip Engineering designed the structural system for the 12,400 square foot pre-engineered metal building. The hangar has a 90-foot wide electric door for airplane entry/egress.
