Holy Cross High School

In 2005, the 150-year-old Holy Cross campus in New Orleans’ Ninth Ward was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. The campus was relocated to a new 20-acre site in Gentilly, and the project included the design and construction of five structures – Middle School Building, High School Building, Administration Building, Student Center, and Cafeteria and a total of 190,000 square feet of space. The new campus is designed to resemble the Romanesque Revival period style of the former Administration Building, originally constructed in 1849. The site includes more than 200,000 square feet of educational buildings, playing and practice fields, and parking for 250 vehicles, and existing live oak trees.
